After feeling a bit bad for my neighbours, the acoustic drum set has been exiled to a mates shed out in the stix and this is now on it's way from Yamaha.

Should have it by early next week and can then jam away day or night for all time.

Here is a list of particularly awesome things:

dogs

sniping

very spicy chilli

cat claws on people (but still cool on cats)

Very nice. Why the ASUS PSU though?

What case btw?

Multicam FTW Base, but IMO I reserve the Auscam for our Diggers, like yourself Base (Almost there) until I can earn the right to wear our dpcu and rising sun. But doesnt say I look down upon those who wish to wear them regardless they are part of the ADF, its just how I feel about it.

On the other note i will like to a set of Platatac Digi Auscam, works really well in our bush here in Melbourne.

Hiking in the Watagans, NSW.

Platatac SAW Vest and a Platatac 72hr RAID pack.

On the topic of shiny auscam...

the sound they made while bush walking made it seem like I was doing mean things to little furry animals inside my pants :p

How do you find the SAW vest Scrim? I always thought it looked like the Minimi pouches would be a pain when you went prone - but then, how often do you have to go prone when Hiking???

Platatac make good gear though

I drool about them before I sleep:sweat: and you're right, digicam (doesn't even have to be auscam) works unbelievably well. (I'm in Syd).

Yeah, i've often thought about getting a SAW vest for mtb camping rides. Was told that you can wear the SAW with an ALICE pack. Have the latter (got it when in Scouts) and is still in mint condition (i look after my stuffs (o; ). Never had a chance to try them out together, so Scrim, if you DO get a chance . . . can you let me know? (o:

Only reason why I went with the SAW vest was because it was a bit more compatible with the RAID pack than the M83's, etc because of the location of the rear side pouches but in saying that, I would've gone with the SAW vest anyways (i like my CR1M's within easy reach if I've nothing better to put there).

I've taken the vest to a few laser skirmishes as well as some training exercises with my school cadet unit (main reason why I bought the set since my old set of webbing was recycled into the Q). I haven't found the pouches to be too impeding but if I could make changes to the rig, I'd remove the rear side pouches and push everything in the front back towards the side leaving MOLLE's at the front

Sure thing, I guess I could pop into the unit, drop a "Hey guys!" and borrow and ALICE pack.

Not in the cadet unit anymore btw, just a supporter.

Its not about whether or not you deserve to wear it, its damn good camo IMO.

The Rising Sun, maybe, but the camo pattern is just that - a pattern.

Can somebody link me to this so-called "Digital Auscam"? I'll believe that when I see it.

Got some new bits n pieces for my buggy :p

Have been building a track for it to recently, very big hill.. Lots of wheel spin.. Like my very own private tuff truck track lol.. Gota few little dirt jumps coming along, huge hill climb section and hoping to build a creek/river and a small dam section to hold a small depth of water in it to give me a water crossing to run through lol :D

Broom brooooooom!

http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t346/who_stole_my_user_name/My%20rc%20track/DSC03002.jpg

Doesn't look nearly as steep on picture.. It wears you out bloody fast climbing up and down to retrieve a turned over/ stuck car!!!! lol

Not to mention I the other day when I was powering up the hill wheel spinning all the way, Lost control went side ways a little just as I got near the top, It rolled onto the roof and slid all the way down the hill on its roof engine still running I flip it over at the bottom and try again :) (snapped off front body post clip tho due to it sliding down andrubbing its nose on the ground all the way lol)

goooooooood fun!

23cc 2 stroke engine btw way ;)

My new toy is a camera hence I can't take pictures of it. Unless I use a mirror.

You've already ruined these forums for me, I have no desire to read your rhetoric or the pathetic arguments you get yourself in to, or the personal vendetta you have against me, so please, do not talk to me. Ever. About anything.
