Hey guys for the past couple of weeks I have been getting a

invalid/corrupt boot.ini file

booting from c:\WINDOWS

just before my windows loading splash.

it's not a big problem I guess seen as nothing different is happening now its doing this. But just wondering if anyone can help and explanation to as why?

The only thing I installed ZoneAlarm and im thinking its this.

Thanks ;D

whats inside your boot.ini?

this is whats in mine:

[boot loader]

timeout=1

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

EDIT - My hdd is also split into 2 partitions, so it will probably be a little different

You're all wrong, and I am always right, and the sooner you accept it, the happier you will be. That is all!
