Posted April 24, 200915 yr From a mates dad (Pte R.L.Shepherd), he took these whilst on active duty in 68-69. ...They were taken the same day/in the hours before the Battle of FSB Coral commenced. FSB Coral was the largest single battle fought by australian soldiers in the entire war, lasting some 15(?) days. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thegoodshepherds/sets/72157616803034566/detail/ Edited April 24, 200915 yr by Puff Aresnik [WC] Leiutenant Braaaaaaaarp!

April 24, 200915 yr have the book The Battle of Coral: Vietnam Fire Suport Bases Coral and Balmoral by Lex McAulay which I personally think is a better read than the Battle of Long Tan by the same author. First to Fight by Bob Breen is also a good read. talk about professionals: http://www.australiansatwar.com.au/throughmyeyes/vi_cuf.asp Edited April 24, 200915 yr by Sapper28 http://i783.photobucket.com/albums/yy116/IINoddyII/aux1_zpsab5224fd.png
