April 21, 200916 yr 5.28 is almost ready for release, it should be up for testing either today or tomorrow. the changelog is gigantic, so there will probably be some bugs that need ironing out before sunday.

Created supply and demand economy system, prices of items/vehicles depends on their availability. Selling oil barrels increases the number of refuel cans in all petrol stations across the map. added in vehicle export flags near vehicle factories, which allows you to export a created vehicle to anyshop you choose for the vehicles current sell price at that shop. you now have to be moving to harvest/fish/gather. if a civ hits more than 1 player with his vehicle he will lose the license for that vehicle. added max storage capacity to all vehicles (ie car has 100, truck has 400). revamped mining system. mining with no tools is very slow (you have to be moving too), mining with tools (shovel, pickaxe, jackhammer) is much faster (note the tools need to be used to do anything, the jackhammer requires an engineers license). reduced price of lockpicks to $500, but can only be bought at terror island. overhauled the contents of all factories and weapons shops to be less cluttered and more realistic. if you rob the bank you wont be locked out from the bank at terror island. fixed convoy actions again. tweaked nitro so that the vehicle cannot go over a speed of 200, making using nitro in boats and bikes less insane. removed import and export flags, the job was basically a legal version of drug running and so boring http://www.gamingsa.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif. now limited amounts of drugs at the drug buy flags, the amount of each drug increases by 2 every 30 mins. due to above change drug's much more lucrative, all drugs sell for double their buy price, drug prices are affected by supply and demand. updated stats to show the current demand for food and oil at all the different food/oil shops. tweaked courier jobs and speedometer system. tweaked marijuana farming: can place sheds/plants as close to marijuana sell as you want, obviously more risky. when a plant is harvested you will get 0-2 seeds. fixed being able to process marijuana at all sheds in the game with the same classname as the drug shed. moved civilian training flag back to bagango. moved air and boat licenses to their respective buy flags to reduce hassle. removed undercover cops. - wait, no i didnt. woops. changed one of the supply trucks to contain 5 oil barrels (sell for 30k each now). added in GPS to generic item shops, allows the civ to use the normal arma gps. due to a scripting complication all ammoboxes are public now, meaning bought weapons and ammunition that appear in ammocrates will be available to anyone who accesses the gear. when buying items or selling items/weapons the player now plays the gear animation to indicate the transfer of goods. changed the animation for moving goods to from storage to a much shorter one to reduce hassle. tweaked cop salaries properly this time, and made them more dynamic. fixed suicide/killed/murdered scripts to hopefully not bug out. inc fish sell price to $500. 1 bread requires 2 wheat instead of 3. many other things i've forgotten. April 22, 200916 yr cheers pm. 5.28 is on the servers now. i'd say unless a hotfix is required the next version will involve a new addon pack .

April 24, 200916 yr New guys (chalice, whitey? etc) Make sure you guys have got your game patched to the latest.. BETA 1.07? And have the slr addon pack, its very important its all setup correctly or you will have hell to pay on the day, if its not done right it will not let you in server. Testing it before hand on the correct SLR mission will be the best way to make sure its working. Nothin worse then turning up on a big day to find your game isnt set up and wont let you in and you have to sit out on the fun. Ive taken many hours out of my game to help someone in TS asking for help... It makes us all have a better day if you check its working before hand. Join TS if your having trouble look to see if anyone is in the arma section to help you now before the big day THo now and then some problems are just un avoidable Fear is another word for weakness.
