I can create the clips, i copy them to

 

%userprolie%\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\Demos

 

Open vanilla, as i can not get to the, community tab, NOT displayed in Library

 

Anyone can help.... Please...

You open the PR demos in PR...

 

Barracks -> battle recorder or something I believe... I'm pretty sure it works (used it to test the other day). I'll tell you the exact method when I get home from uni (about 2 hours from now)

Yeah, my biggest problem was I recorded the files in PR SP, Tried to Play them, But Did not look at barracks.

 

Then for anyone else havin a bash, if u record in PR they must play in PR , If You record In PR SP they Must play In PRSP

Hmmm, i seem to CTD when i try and play them

press the ~ key in game to bring up the console, then type:

demo.recorddemo *write name of file here no spaces*

 

After your done, finish by entering the console again, and typing:

 

demo.shutdowndemo

 

Then go into Program Files/EA Games/mods/pr/Demos and the file should be there. If not try: My Documents/Battlefield 2/profiles/default/demos and the files will be in there.

 

If you want to watch them place them in the My Documents Battlefield 2 Folder, or download Battle Director (It doesn't work anymore I don't think with PR 0.85, new .exe stuffed everything up) - OR download Gaffa Machinima Tool - machinima.teamgaffa.dk/software

This Is How I'm Doin It

 

You can create your own demo files from single player games or games you are hosting.

 

1. During single player gameplay, acivate the demo recoder by typing in the console "demo.recorddemo [name of the file here]"

Dont put in the [] . Console will then say something like "recording started".

 

2. Stop the recording by typing in the console "demo.stoprecording" .

 

3. The demo files are created and stored in this path C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Demos

 

4. To be able to play these back inside BF2 you need to move the files from the above folder to this path

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Battlefiel d 2\Profiles\Default\d emos. If that folder does not exist create it.

 

5. To remove the HUD for taking screen shots, console command is renderer.drawhud 0 & renderer.drawhud 1 to put it back on.

 

I was CTD only if I recorded in single player and tried to play them in normal PR
