Since it sounds like theres a few of us here, I thought id make a spot for ps3 stuff, games, user names etc.

Id also advise anyone who adds or attemps to add another person, put in the comment box the forum url or something so they know where the person is from. When I get random adds from people on msn/myspace/ps3 I decline all of them that I dont previously know from somewhere unless I got along with em in a current game.

I went for it judged on how good it did on pc previously, and on the basis it was going to be as good if not better, but It wasnt that great, Id prefer of not bought it as I havent played it much and would prefer money on a diff game.

 

So not as good as I had hoped. I promised my self not to buy randomly/ to many games that I didnt know how good they would be as i did for ps2 and ended up spending 2.5k worth on gear, to sell it for $400 to go to the ps3

 

So sof was a mistake to my new buying rules lol.. And thats why I dont have many games as you see. Trying to stop buying games, just to see what there like lol.

 

After all, my ps2 games were bought at $95-110 each (17+ games) ps3 games are anywhere from $60-120 new which is insane considering the blueray disc and how much better the games are, goes to show how much of a gold mine they made of us on old consoles, now with region free they are under threat to give us a reasonbale price or we ship it in.

 

Which is why Im real happy with the new console

Just gotta upgrade my hdd to a 320 gig or something.. as the 40 is full as of a few weeks ago

See you in 2014 then lol. Mine was $599 got a special here locally. I waited a few months before I got it, didnt wanna pay 1k for it and not have any games I wanted out at the time.. So I waited, saw the killer special and jumped on it. Still they are selling for $600+ and Ive had mine for many months now , holding its value well lol!

 

 

 

Also watch closely for xmas specials, retail is abit worried about the economy crisis and people might not spend much so there might be a few bargins! Ill be getting a few hundred bucks out ready incase anything cheap pops up

 

 

Also you get good bang for buck with a ps3, when you think about it, its the same price as a good gfx card and it can do alot more then render stuff on a screen, plays all kinds of media, audio/video and does games. By the time they get real cheap IE under $300 it will be old technology, probably lack of support, games, hardware etc and there will be a new one out, its like everything electronic, expensive, but quickly replaced with something better for the same value.

BUMP little big planet game has been released in some stores today(one day early from official date), contact your local outlet ! $89 seems to be the price to beat atm, jb hifi, EB might also match it.

 

If they dont have it today, tomorrow is garanteed official day that all stores should have it, but apparently many are selling it today.

 

I just rang local store and said they released it today, so I just had a shower, drove down and grabbed it.. $89 at jb hi fi (Glendale) newcastle Ill be busy for a few days, its loading up now.
