I reformatted a few days ago and now my mic is really quiet unless my mouth's right up against it.

All audio volumes are on max, mic boost is on.

Mic works fine on other pc's

Anyone got any ideas?

I had the same kinda problem when I built my new pc..

It was really quiet in T/S and no output at all in voip, even though the "Talking" icon was showing when I pressed to talk.

have a look here..> http://www.bigdgaming.net/showthread.php?t=4981.

Got it sorted eventually..

I had to run it through a different usb ..

good luck.

Im having the same problem, just installed new audio drivers as the old one's were making my pc crash.

So now TS works fine but VOIP refuses to work with me, I've tried the BF2 Voicesetup but as far as it's concerned there is no sound.

I've had same problem before although I use KX drivers.

Try reinstalling the voip server. Also in windows sound and audio devices, what does it show as your recorder?

Sometimes you have to turn up the mic volume in "playback" as well as "recording"

Are you using the latest Creative drivers by chance?

did you have the wrong device selected for voice recording? I have two soundcards installed and windows always defaults to the wrong device for some reason.

Also anyone using the latest Creative drivers have a bug where the mic in always defaults to mute when you close the sound panel.
