Posted September 20, 200816 yr The next Battlefield 2 patch has officially been announced. Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again. We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year. Depends on which way you look at it, PR is still a work in progress, the dev's are always making little tweaks, seeing how it plays out and then adjusting the code/game as they see fit. September 21, 200816 yr they will release the patch and on the same day or week they will release officail BF3 development diaries and updates. its to get peoples interest back into the battlefield fanchise by issuing a new patch. heros and bad company arent really in a sense battlefield titles even though they share the same title. with call of duty: world at war Ea and dice will have to pull something big out of their pockets with BF3 soon.... expect the patch around december with news on a BF3 titled game! the patch will be nothing major probably jus a map or two with bug and expliot fixes with maybe some new form of gameplay/faction/vehicles/ unlock weapons etc to get ppls interest back into bf2 they will need to add new content along with general bug fixes to this but it wont be anything damaging to PR... a few bugs might pop up in PR script but the devs will be prepared and ontop of them as soon as the patch is released. September 22, 200816 yr Mark my words... patch comes out & we will be stuck with vanilla until the PR legends can release a fix that will allow PR to run properly. I just know it... This could be bad! has anyone had a nostalgic moment & given vanilla a go agian... Dont do it..
