In the video you posted above, they seemed overly excited, swore, spoke over the commanding officer and each other, driver disobeyed him, one soldier got out and checked the body in the line of friendly fire when there very well could of been other combatants in the area (whose to say they weren't drawing them to that street?) etc. I'm not in the military but I do know a modicum of professionalism when I see one, and that wasn't it.

Guys if you post a link to something that may potentially offend viewers please make sure you put a small disclaimer in your post.

 

Something like "Warning graphic violence, may be offensive/unsuitable to some viewers"

 

This way we are advised of a links content before we see it just so we don't have any problems like there has been before with videos of a similar nature.

As for the guy checking the body, he's making sure he's out of it and moved as soon as possible. He would not have been completely in the line of fire from the .50 either.

 

The sneaky buggers like to go out with a bang a lot so wouldn't you give him a look over?

 

The yanks have gotten in trouble for some footage in the past of soldiers putting a few more into downed guys on film. Didn't go over well but they are trained to make sure.

I don't think hollering like morons is being well-trained. The Sergeant even yelled at him to get back in, so therefore what he did was wrong. He should of asked permission to check the body over.

 

Plus, I only watched the video once but I only saw 2 bodies go down, where did the 3rd go? Who's to say he didn't have him lined up or as previously mentioned, had a posse of buddies there with him? That could of been a classic bait-and-run and they all fell for it. Plus getting out of the car before even knowing the area was even slightly safe endangered himself and everyone else in the vehicle.

 

I'm sorry, being shot at previously has no bearing on safe and unsafe procedures. That was an entirely unsafe situation to be getting out of a vehicle.

I'm thinking that you played the whole you aren't in the military card which didn't work too well and now you are struggling for any sort of cognitive response.
