July 23, 200816 yr As long as only some sites are screwing up it shouldn't have anything to do with your side AFAIK. Good to see you are finally back in the game though
July 23, 200816 yr This is almost always caused by an MTU problem (google for further info). Basically now that you're running PPPoE, the size of packets that can get from your LAN into the Internet is very slightly smaller so you need to adjust the MTU (maximum transmission unit) to account for this. Decent routers do this automatically, but most home-grade routers aren't decent! Go into the setup of your router (not your modem) and somewhere in the ADSL or WAN configuration you need to change the MTU to 1492 and if that still doesn't work after saving the settings and rebooting the router, try setting it to an even lower figure such as 1460. This will likely fix the problem. It could of course be some other problem though. XRogerMellieX: "Fiancee is on night shift and I only see her on weekends. Sunday night is nookie night."
