You get this if you fail to answer an md5 query (obviously :p). Basically the server asks for the md5 hash of a certain file, your machine is supposed to send it back. If it fails to send it back within a certain amount of time you get kicked for 0 minutes I believe. Just try not to have anything running in the background that could interfere, nothing else using the internet, etc, and you should be fine. Bit annoying, yes, but it's there for a reason.

last week i got kicked for 3 minutes for the first time it happened, restarted then the second time it happened i got kicked for another three minutes but for about 15 minutes it kept coming up "you have been kicked for ignoring md5 toolbox queries... may not rejoin server for another 0 minutes" serious pain in the ass as i was flying a heli at the time :(

I was in a chopper too. Amazing how these things tend to happen. Yeah thats alright Ancientman. I restarted and it all seems fine again. Hmmm..

ROLF old1 - well put mate

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

PR TOTALLY SCREWS UP :D

took 2 battlefield 2 re installs to get everything working again

Try reinstalling the vanilla 1.4 / 1.41 patches before reinstalling altogether.

The problem is not just PR, if any battlefield file is not quiet right, youll get booted.

Keep an eye on your firewall, incase its asking permissions, etc.

The other day I was able to jump on PR through my bros wireless connection and had this problem. I didnt know other mods could be the culprit

Shaders...Have you been playing other bf2 mods lately..?...

So no more AIX in singleplayer, once I start playing PR again

i have only ever got the md5 tool kick when i have been doing lots of RAM and CPU hungry things like using Photoshop to edit .RAW or BF2editor or 3dsmax.

if i try to play bf2 after doing one of those things i get the kick.....

like ancient said i think its probably because your machine has slowed down abit and didnt send the reply in time to the query punkbuster aksed for.

a simple restart of your PC fixes this issue. also make sure u do regular defrags and registry cleans if are installing and uninstalling programs alot (this includes other bf2 mods too). helps to avoid this kick.

i'm not sure if installing mods causes this at all... its never really happened to me from using other mods. it may get corrupted but that would mean it would happen everytime u played any online bf2(vanilla or mod)...... and if a simple restart of the machine fixes it then its not a corrupted file so a reinstall of bf2 wont fix it!

Fear is another word for weakness.

IF YOU GET THIS KICK JUST RESTART YOUR PC! .... IT SHOULD FIX IT

my above post gives some reasons as to why you may get kicked!
