Unable to connect to Account Server

Guys!

I need some help here... Have been trying for the last 1/2 hour or so to connect to the Account server only to get the message of

"The Server has refused the connection"

 

Why???? I tried removing the [bD] tag, just in case, tried rebooting anything that can be rebooted, but, still no joy. even re keyed my password....

 

Any help appreciated :(

    I had that last night too. It took me ages even to get to the login screen, then a good 40 secs to be denied.

    Just had that problem, reset my router and modem, then it worked.

     

    I think it's just a problem with the BF2 Account server.

    It'll be the account server BF2 is trying to connect you through being down and not redirected properly. Resetting modem/router should fix it, if not you might have to wait a while.

    this has happened in the passed. if you get this error in the future you can bet its due to the account server failing, being worked on, lost its link with the master, failing (needs to be said twice)
