ok so this can be were we post the problems with 0.7

 

well to start with there's sometimes this 6000 sec's spawn time.

i just joined the server nothing had spawned yet..

Also there is a bug were it dosen't show your capping a flag but the flag still go's up.

I'm pretty sure mate that the above spawn time happens when you haven't changed your kit at the beginning of a round.

When a round starts you need to select a different kit to the default one (but then you can changed back to that kit if you want).

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, AncientMan should be able to tell us???

'I think' this also happens if you select an officer kit when your not eligible to select one.

You should note at the beginning of a round or after you have died, on the caps lock screen (bottom right) that it also says "select different kit",

Pretty sure that this message and the stupendously high spawn time are related.

This IS a bug, and its listed under the guide as one, so its acknowledged. They say its a sideeffect from the implementation of limited kit spawning, like with the Officer's kit.

Losing kills....

 

Its not registering atleast 25% of the kills i make.:(

 

Sure its not important....but i want it just the same.

 

BEFORE some smart arse says "ohhh its the 30sec delay...blah...blah..." ITS NOT!!!

 

Im not sure if its giving them to other people as i think it is...

that may be the case as i seem to get lots of kills each round. like for example at the start of a round on seven gates i only shot at about 3 people, but i got 8 kills lol. and ive noticed a lot of other people both talking about lost kills and kills they didnt realise they got.

UNCONFIRMED - There have been multiple reports of this, it needs testing to confirm.

 

Basically, you get kills for people you have wounded, but then have been killed by someone else later.

 

Spawn Screen - When entering the spawn on a new round, you must always select a new kit or you will not be able to spawn (Spawn time will give you 6000). This is a workaround for us to get the Officer kit into the spawn screen but only squad leaders selecting it. It will be improved in a future version of Project Reality.

 

Capture Radius Indicator - In order to find out if you are within a CP capture radius open and close your capslock map. If you are inside of the CP radius you will see the indicator at the top right of your screen. If you do not see it after you close it then you are outside the cap radius and should get closer to the flag and repeat the process again.

Gulf of Oman - Village Cp - Anti-Air Guns makes medic sound and you get stuck in it.. also I think that rally is useless for getting limited kits..

 

I seemed to had a lot of problems getting limited kits of most rallys on that map..

its happened to me to mate , the battle arena i made 5 kills and it didnt register 1 of them . havnt had a problem in bigd except for the servers crashing all the time

the medic sound is the paddles recharging right? that happens alot if you can't get out of the vehicle your in because something is blocking the exit.

Yeah the AA on the roof at village CP is bugged me thinks and that rally point as well.. there was nothing blocking me afaik

at the back of supply depot in Mestia there is a little thing you can crawl into.

On the northern corner of the building a metal siding has been displaced and you

can crawl in but DO NOT try to go onto the wood section... you will never return... it's a permanently-stuck thing.

You are "on the flag" there, but can't out again.

its ether supply or muntions dump but there only way to get it off is to drop it through the roof

Got bad rego

 

The hitreg was purposefully tweaked to make it harder to dolphin-dive/shoot etc. You have to stay still and aim for 1sec before firing or else your shot will go way off. It's to make it more realistic.

 

The jets are shockin, there are multiple glitches, the gameplay moves like a snail..

I find the game play to be just as fast paced in general. I would imagine if you run and gun then it would be quite a bit slower as you have to show your map all the time to gauge where friendlies are - though if you plan ahead you should know where they are and can still play this style of game.

 

There has been a lot more emphasis put on defence with the lack of a mini map IMO.

ok on quinling as commander the command post would not spawn no matter what, and we did have logistics. that was a really annoying bug which we spent about half the round trying to overcome.

 

Just had a round of 32player Quinling on GA... as brits the exact same thing happened. I have fraps footage of it... it would appear that it causes an error where the server thinks you're trying to give RCON (remote admin) commands... very strange/stupid.

 

Here's the exact message:

 

rcon: error: not authenticated: you can only invoke the following commands:

profileid, login, logout, help

 

Each time you try to place a command post/bunker it will act as if you haven't, but check the console and you'll see that message for each time you tried.

Rego/hit detection is less than desirable as it apparently only affects straiff or sideways movement..

Stand still and swap between standing crouching & proning and you'll fire accurately? move sideways slightly in any position and your way off target??

 

Yet in game in prone position fire at target controlled 3 burst shots lining up each time and target turns around and nails me first shot in defense? WTF?

Yeah this happened to me the other night, only registered 1 out of 5 kills in that short round, and of course some smartarse piped up with the whole "you didnt kill him then" or "30 second delay idiot" even though these were mostly close range kills i had confirmed myself and 10 mins later as well.
