Posted December 10, 200717 yr Since upgrading my MoBo to an Assus P5N32 with onboard sound my ingame VOIP has been really crappy apparently. Haven't found any new drivers for it so don,t know if thats the problem. It sounds fine when I do micraphone tests etc. It is also better with boost turned off except I have to speak REALLY LOUD to be heard. (All mike sliders at max) Any idea's ?? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
December 10, 200717 yr Have tried mic boost on, but sliders about halfway/75%? Try for an X-Fi Fatality for chrissy? Where's the cheese? http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2315/ubd4327.png
December 10, 200717 yr Author Yes tried that (windows and in game). Got two 7600GT GPU's installed so no room for extra's !! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
December 11, 200717 yr I had problem with my onboard for a while - came across some posts regarding Realtek drivers that pointed me to the Prog Files\Realtek\Install dir to run some mic setup exe that supposedly helps reset the volumes or som such. Think all working OK for me now. Bit tricky as I tried multiple things to fix it, so not sure what did the trick. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
