If there's one piece of advice I can give to you all , is this: Stay the hell away from the /b/ (otherwise known as Random , Retardom , /b/tard land , hell on internets , the only place on the internet without the slightest sense of morality or limits , etc etc.) on 4chan.

 

Quite possible I picked up a virus from downloading a file on there. Or it could just be from somewhere else coupled with the fact that there's too much **** on my computer.

 

So anyways , now I has to reformat mah computah , It's not the actually reformatting part that bothers me , it's the part after where I have to redownload all those huge game patches that I knew I should have kept at the time but didn't. *sigh*

 

On another note , StarForce is gay , seriously , any game producer who dares to use that utter crap on their game deserves to be shut down. It conflicts with so many things, causes problems and is a general cluster ****.

 

I've got to do some back up-ing before I reformat , so... any tips to throw my way?

Virus scan everything your backing up, make sure you dont carry it over.

run "prevx"+ "spybot"search and destroy ,then "ccleaner",unplug the internet,disable system restore(some nasty viruses hide **** in there so they come back...,then back up...and reformat.

(all that sh!t,prevx etc is free and ain't bugged).
