Hey, could anyone help me? I keep getting kicked out of the bigD servers for some unknown reason, but this is what it says when I've been kicked.

 

"PunkBuster Kiked Player 000o0black-star0o000(For 2 minets)...MD5Tool.mismach:mods\bf2\std_archive_mod.md5"

 

It's happened to me just then and in the last hour I've been kicked 5 times. Does anyone know what it means and how to stop it from kicking me?

 

Oh, and hey Jim, how do you know if that "pb_sleep 500" command has worked ?

it means that one of your BF2 files has been altered. It is failing a check when comparing its MD5 signature with what is on record.

 

Have you modified any files ??

 

In not have you used the online download thing from EA to get patches or Expansion packs? - if so then typically the only way to fix it is to wipe BF2 and all associate files and then re-install using locally downloaded patches

you'll also know if pb_sleep 500 works as it will show another message in the console saying (20 to 500) or something similar.

:sweat: Ok cool so what i do is reinstall it all or just the mods .....yer i tryed to mod it with a singal player mod to get more bots dident work tho that could of done it... and wow that pic is too big can someone point me in the right direction on how to make a cool logo like other peopls??

If you were playing around with SP vanilla BF2, then youll need to reinstall everything.

Best to do a completely fresh install.
