I think a regular scrim night on a weekly or fortnightly basis would be great for the bigD PR community. What night suits you guys?

I didnt mind sunday nights too but the numbers dwindled last timer we tried it then.

Sundays, but thats only because I work friday nights, otherwise I would vote for that

workshop is about 25 kms from home....and as for the corner job,the only thing I get regularily rooted by is the Tax Dept...

Monday nights is great for me but the start time of 7pm is going to be hard, and I live in the eastern time zone, I can only imaging how hard its going to be for those that live way out west.

Thursday or Friday nights

i say Friday nights - only because it gives a chance for the Easteners to meat the Westeners.

 

Personally i cant play until approx 8:30-9:00 AEST

and then usually people are already whinging that no one showed up.

 

WE have tried community members nights in the past and they last a few weeks and then people loose interest. its not from lack of telling people and encouraging them its just people seem to loose interest real fast.

 

But im up for some more organised play again

I think a start time of 19:00 is a bit early too. I would go for 20:30-21:00, most of us have damn uni and/or work then have to come home and do things/make and have dinner, etc. :disgust: damn real life.

Friday night starting at Beeroclock !

Fri + Sat Nights best for me 8:30 onwards would be best especially on a Fri (never know what time i'll finish work, sht,shwr,shave,dinner,etc.)

 

I would say Sundays but only if we could have them earlier because this late night BS is killing me and my work.

Because it's the only night I don't regularly have plans for.

IMO, weekend nights, including fridays aren't such a good idea because people too often get caught up in other things.

Where were you a month ago when no one was turning up to the passworded server #2 for sunday night community nights?!?

There were announcements in the forums, reminders, requests for input on what maps/matches to play, even messages spammed on server 1 leading up to, as well as on the night!

 

Sundays died so lets try Fridays?!?

Lol, we could always run both I suppose and see which one is more popular that way. Voting in a thread is one thing actually turning up is another.
