Brand new feature to BigD SQUAD - Live Map Voting

This new system allows anyone currently logged into a Squad Game Server to vote for the next map to be played.

 

It will take a minimum of 3 votes during a voting period (map round) for the vote to be successful and accepted by the server.

 

We are currently trailing the system on our #1 server - please give us our feedback so we can ensure you have the best experience on the BigD Squad servers.

Use your steam web browser mate, so just Shift+tab (default) and do it that way.

Nothing to suggest at all. It's simple, gets the job done and appears to update quickly on the server.

Vote by image anyone? I really like this feature but I can never remember the maps to names.

So i mashed out a quick chrome script that will do the above until i get the real thing greenlit.

Its a bit ugly but does the job.

I've also set up a preview to what it will look like eventually.

I've also opened up my maps so if you need em for whatever reason.

To get the chorme script you will need the tampermonkey chrome extension -

Then create a script and copy all the info from this file -

If you do end up trying it let me know if the names to maps are wrong. I pulled them all from the console but i think that even has errors.
