A lot of people are very keen on playing the larger map sizes (Gorodok, Yehorivka, Kohat) now that v9 is out. The new style of gameplay on these maps, Gorodok and Yehorivka in particular, is a breath of fresh air for most of us who have been playing since the earlier days on Squad. Several people I've spoken to have been pretty positive about the idea of having a server which fully caters to these maps. Would love to have a discussion on whether people feel like such a server would be worthwhile running. Also would be interested to hear what level of diversity people think the server should have in the layers it runs, with things like insurgency and conquest being available in Kohat and the new expanded maps respectively.

I'm not opposed to it. Yeho and Gorodok have been vastly improved and the addition of more vehicles have made the gameplay a nice pace, gives me flashbacks to PR.

 

My only concern would be server life cycle, would people get bored of 3 maps in rotation?

Will be happy to run this on the white list server for a trial. Let me know what layers i.e Yeho v2 Goro V1 Kohat V1

@Spono Both v1 and v2 of Yeho and Gorodok AAS are pretty good right now for the new v9 meta of big maps and cool vehicles. If we run Kohat I think v1 would be preferable to v2.

 

@Dubs Amen on the PR vibes, having objectives 800m apart makes vehicle play feel so much more essential than before and lone wolfing a lot less viable.

No reason why we can't trial it.
