Hey there guys, this minecraft server is starting from scratch. The places we build the towns we have access to will be granted by you, the community. I know you guys want to move straight to a modded server however that will come in time once we know what our servers can handle. Those who have spawned in for the first time on our servers you will be granted a colourful piece of armour, if you can find it. Now, lets lay down some ground rules

 

1. No Griefing (c'mon guys, its sort of obvious, if it's not yours and you didn't ask to have it, leave it)

 

2. Do Not Kill another player, once we have an arena set up, those who wish to fight can (once the arena is set up then those who wish to fight, can)

 

3. Do not destroy anything anyone has made. (If you don't want it done to you, don't do it)

 

4. See an admin about any issues you have

 

5. You claim the area you can fence off, the fence placed spans from the bottom of the world to +265 the comes in moderation however, if it is an island you must search the island, if you find no signs of life on it, it is yours though you must put a sign up on the island designating it to be yours (common guys it should be nice and easy and any land disputes will be sorted out either by an admin, this will favor neither party, or through the arena *once set up*)

 

6. If you have built on someone else's land and are requested to leave or cannot come to a suitable agreement and admin intervention is required it will favor the party that was there first.

 

7. These rules come about until we see which direction the server will be taken in, until that is decided (which is based off of the communities input) these rules are in effect

 

8. If it drops in your inventory its your's (**unless** if a players drops it and it was not intended for you you **MUST** return it)

Now That's out of the way and I hope you guys are reading to find that IP. This is a new server, I cannot stress this point enough. The only parts that have been built for it are within the spawn protection areas. The rest if free range. Any server changes, updates or movement to a mod will keep the original world as best preserved as possible so it will be first in best dressed. Now for the important part guys, this server is the first server on BigD to be using BigD official server and be allowed to have the tag of "official". This means that we as the community need to support it and follow the rules. If there are any server issues then report it to an admin ASAP it's most likely we already know however if you do not see a message appear in the #minecraft chat then please inform us. This server has not been tested with a large group of people accessing it at once so if you do experience lag or rubberbanding please don't let it affect your views on this server as we plan to make it great and powerful amongst the BigD but it will only work if everyone works together to form a great empire with many areas that have impact from all of us playing minecraft. any major constructions will be built by the community. If you have ideas for what to build in the server and you have enough people to help you then find a place to build it and do so. It's BigD guys, we're relaxed and we love BIG THINGS, its what Australians have done in the past and we're only going to do bigger and better in the future.

Hey there guys, it seems the vanilla server is getting boring and not many people want to play it too much. The admin team has decided that we are going to update the game to an FTB mod but ONLY after the end dragon and the wither have been defeated and there is proof of it in our server, Giving a relative time will allow us to check the server to see if it was defeated or better yet, do it whilst one of the admins is active. Once those two bosses have been beaten the server will be updated the day after and a FTB server will begin with all your homes and misc stuff as in tact as possible when the world is moved. working together will make it happen faster though working in the factions you have already made will make things interesting and most amusing. Though before you guys go to the end dragon, I would love to accompany you to grab some snapshots of the "victors of our world". There will also be some minor updates to the server through the week and I am hoping to get some people for a "community build" event if people are interested. Though I would like to be pm'ed to see who and how many people we can get to make this happen.
