Nah mate. This is for dirt Rally. The actual rally sim they released on Steam early access last year and rebuilt from the ground up with the communities feedback.

Its on another level to dirt 3

Can I have some feedback on the rally event for the next one?

Did you like that it was hardcore with no restarts or would you like us to allow them until people get better and learn the tracks off by heart?

Did you like the solo event or would you prefer to choose a class and have multiple events over several weeks. Ie. a 6 event season over 6 weeks? For example?

Any other feedback?

My idea is to keep it without restarts, open the event window to all weekend so its more flexible with everyone's schedule. Do say 4-6 stages (maybe all the short ones for the first season, leave the long ones for later on), same location. Do all 6 locations over 6 weeks.

That way we pick a class, you pick a car, look at what location is in this week and have a chance to practice them before having a crack at the event on the weekend.

Letme know what you think so we can finalise this tomorrow at the event meeting.

Yo! was super keen for this, problem was I only had an hour to try to complete it. Think I made it to the 6th or 7th then I didn't know how much time I had left so I just gave up.

I didn't know it was hardcore as I only had 1 attempt anyway. I think hardcore is has its pros and cons. For someone like me who only has 10 or so hours It can work against me, but at the same time if you guys make a mistake it could be the tortoise and the hare scenario although I am not sure how likely it is? Would be good to have shorter rallys though, was way to long. is it possible to do it over an entire weekend? Then perhaps do a rallycross on a sunday afternoon together to finish it off? I like the rally cross, fun as shit.

Edit: Prob should of read the other posts :D

Diff cars / tracks doesn't mean anything for me, just in it for the lols :)

I agree with everything above so long as we can change classes each week. I really don't want to be driving 60s all season.

Nor do I man.. Thats why we pick something a little more fun..

My suggestions would be the FWD kit cars or maybe the group A or R4 class.. Then step up to either 2000's or 2010's for a WRC season.

Then some 70's and 80's action and finally group B carnage later on down the road.

The advantage of doing one class for a couple of weeks is you can pick a car and really get the feel for the weight and how it handles, hopefully making for less mistakes and more competitive times. Really try and tweak your chosen car for the fastest times it can do.

As for crashing, the faster you go and the more you try to push it to the limits of what you can do, the more likely to crash. The more competitive and the closer the times get, the more people will crash trying to find that extra second on their closest rival.

Happy with the way we did it, and any of previously mentioned above is great aswell. Definately a longer time period as said so it does give some people time to practice out of the league for different locations etc.

Could have long and short leagues, a short one for when we wanna have fun steez and put that 3hr limit on it so we cant practice etc. Something like that we can organise any time though.

Keeeen for more :)

I missed the notifications it was going to be on , didn't realise it was going down until too late, hopefully ill post up some times and get some runs in for the next leg :)

Have some runs in Wales on the Bronfelen stage... let Steez and i know what you can manage, using the 1960's
