Our ARMA3 Exile server is now up to date with Exile Mod 1.0.2

 

Most vehicles and player-built buildings have been auto wiped by the Exile database as it was idle for so long.

 

I have setup the XM8 App system to work with our server. You will now be able to download the Android app from the Play Store and link your Steam Account to it. This will allow real time alerts of base attacks to your mobile phone.

I have updated the server and brought it back now with the latest Exile release only One Day ago. We are running stock Exile with a number of server-side improvements as listed below.

Super sick, but for me atm, the App is incompatible with my version of Android (4.4.2). Will see what i can do about that..

 

Seeing as we wont really have too many new people join who can be bothered to build, can we extend the rent period to two weeks?

Maybe set up a white list for building if possible?

 

I just think its too short a period for those who cant get on every day (ie me)

I have made it 28 days as listed in the OP. Should give the more casual players plenty of time to keep their bases alive.

28 days is more than enough. If you can't get on that often you don't deserve to have a base lol. Thanks Madhouse, appreciate the effort. Super keen to try out the revive, and NPC defended military bases sound cool. Will be logging in to check it out ASAP.

hahaha agreed ^ apologies chaps, I did not see that, sorry. Legends.

How does revive work? Google tells me I need some sort of defib or medkit? can't find anything like that. How do I get one? Also whats the go with "defended military bases"? sounds cool but haven't seen any NPCs at military bases yet.

 

EDIT: Further more it appears no roaming AI is spawning on the server. I've been on a lot in the last few days and seen none/

Player Reviving is now finally fixed and working ingame!

 

I have also managed to fix roaming ai (bandits) and military bases are now occupied at random:

There is a new feature with the occupation mod where a randomly spawning group of ai will spawn into the map near an active player and hunt him down... I just encountered a group after me for the first time, all dressed in black police clothes.

Haha that awesome Madhouse. What are the survivor groups marked on the map?

 

EDIT: scratch that. Seems survivor groups are small groups of NPC convicts cruising around towns, and they didn't shoot at me, pretty cool. Also Madhouse you left your admin hacks turned on. My map in game looks exactly like the one you posted. I can see exactly where all the AI groups are

 

Might want to fix that.

 

Also can we possibly get the bleedout timer for reviving extended to 5 mins or so? 2 minutes is a really short time when under fire.

I have turned off the colour dots off the map

 

I'll have a poke and see if its possible to extend the timer.

Many people on over the past week?

There's been a few of us on. Myself, EvilRooter, PMDW play fairly regularly on the bigD server. Besides us there seems to be a few other randoms on from time to time. Be nice to have some more player crews roaming though.

Hrmm, well. I feel like im done playing lol.

 

Apart from the Super AI, my vehicles and gear keep going missing, and with the amount of players, I dont see someone stealing them every time, though possible.

 

As a solo player, I dont jump to have to grind another 10+ hrs to get back to where I was. If thats all people want to do then its not worth putting the time in, as im not on for days, or a week at a time.

 

Will keep an eye out to see if the population grows. Though wishful, I just dont think it works as a large scale game with such a small population.

Yeah we noticed that 2 of our vehicles mysteriously went missing from our locked up base with nil signs of damage to the base. Assuming it was some kind of glitch.

 

It's a pity about the player count. BigD definitely has the best server setup with regards to asset balance IMO which is why I play on it. (Aside from my ingrained BigD loyalties). The other servers have more players but they are so unbalanced and end up with people just cruising around in Striders or similar with remote .50 turrets sitting on hills killing people from 2km away with their 100x thermal/NVG sights. The AI could probably do with a tone down on accuracy. It's very hard to go toe to toe with them without some friends backing you up.
