August 25, 200717 yr Try this: Open the start menu, click on 'Run...'. In the dialog that appears, type 'compmgmt.msc' without the quotation marks. Open the Disk Management panel (under Storage), and right click on your hard disks. In the right click menu, select 'Enable Large Disk Support' - This should fix it. Failing that just do what I did to get this answer for you and go to http://www.google.com.au and enter '127gb hdd'. Good luck! http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb256/navymedic85/Signature.jpg
August 25, 200717 yr If that ^^^ doesn't work, you can slipstream SP2 into the XP install, and that will make it work. Just google how to slipstream SP2 into XP. Then reinstall XP http://www.ancientdev.com/images/devsig.png

August 25, 200717 yr you not likely to ever see the whole hard drive - if you bought a 320gb harddrive (ie it says it on the hard drive) then windows will only see part of it. here is how stupid windows is. 1gb = 1024mb in usually terminology (due tot he hex compression) but windows thought they would make it simple and say 1000mb = 1gb. So your hard drive will appear smaller. http://www.madhouseau.com/misc/sigs/darthsig.jpg
August 25, 200717 yr Maybe partitions would be a quickfix then http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d191/workingrobbie/Avvy/battlemonkey.gif
August 26, 200717 yr things like seagate tools, or WD's version of it will re enable the rest of the drive. I use Partition magic though. http://users.on.net/~mperrin/images/les_mis_kindros.png You're all wrong, and I am always right, and the sooner you accept it, the happier you will be. That is all!
