Could the Admins please put up a notice on the server 1 around 12am your time telling people the server 2 is available to play on? Or shut down server 1 on week nights after a certain time? :shock:

 

So many times I join Pr at about 12-1 am your time and the big server only has 3vs 3 or 4vs 4, this amount of players would be great for server 2!!!

 

0.5 I would play PR until quite late, now I don't really get a chance to play because of the small number of players at the time I play. Server 1 empties to about 8-10 players no one goes to server 2. Why?

 

 

This thread isn't just about me wanting to play more late at night, I think the smaller server would be fuller for later if people were directed there at a certain time.

 

 

Also PLEASE take the big maps off server 2, they just kill it late at night, (same with server 1 too)

Have you tried mentioning it yourself over in-game chat? I think that would be just as effective.

Just my opinion, but I think that would annoy a lot of people - they wouldn't understand why, and would likely just go to bed or go do something else.

Probably the same reason server 3 is always empty. No-one wants to be the guy sitting in an empty server waiting for others to join. I've done it a few times on server 3, and yeah it's boring, but usually it's only 15 mins max till someone else shows up. The numbers go up exponentially from there. I usually go make a coffee or something while I'm waiting... Or try to get down as much water as possible to avoid a hangover the next day

Im not getting back up out of bed at midnight everynight to shutdown server 1.... Im dedicated but thays rediculous!

As suggested Dandred, just ask everyone to move to server 2.

The map rotation will hopefully be a bit better when the new patch comes out, hopefully allowing us to add in more of the 16p maps.

The two 64p maps that are in rotation on 2 (mestia and 7gates) are actually great fun with 6-10 a side.

Asking people to move over never works I think i've seen it work once since 0.6 came out.

 

I hope the new patch does improve things.

 

I'm not trying to annoy people with the server shutting down suggestion Navy_Medic, I think people would to be happier to play later on the smaller server than everyone just leave all the servers.......

 

But as Jim has already said this is impossible, unless he puts a timer on the server..............

Yes, I know that is a very bad idea

If you get on the small server around 2:30 3:00 pm just before the schoolies you will find that they join server 2 and the server will stay populated all night but if they get in server 1 first good night

Last time I checked in BF2cc there were 2-4 at most

 

And 2-3 of them where extract.

Al Kurah Oilfields, Kasharn Desert, Operation Phoenix and Raid on Moskye (Xtract) are the only 32's

 

AFAIK the Xtract maps are "out of order"

Raid on Moskiye is not extract in rotation, it is a regular AAS map.
