- Fishing Rods — Vanilla rods can be crafted with a long-stick and 1 x rope
- Gebs Fishing Rods - Can be found or purchased in multiple colors from the Trader at Svet and the Hunting Lodge.
- Hooks — Bone hooks can be crafted from animal bones.
Wooden hooks can be made from 1 short stick and a knife.
Geb's fishing hooks are available at the Svet Fishing Trader and the Hunting Lodge.
- Bait — Dig up worms with a shovel or knife. Fishing lures purchased from the Trader require no bait.
- Fishing and Hunting Cases — Buy specialised cases at the Trader to organize your supplies.

🐾 Hunting, Skinning & Trapping 🐾
- Animals to Hunt: Deer, pigs, cows, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens and foxes.
- Predators to Avoid Eating: Wolves and bears. Their meat will make you very sick even if cooked.
- Skinning Tip: Always wear gloves while gutting to avoid getting blood on your hands and risking sickness.
Basic Traps
- Snare Trap — Can be purchased at the Hunting Lodge. Place them in open areas to catch hares and chickens. Bait with worms, fruit, or meat to attract foxes.
- Fish Traps — Plastic Bottle Traps and Fish Net Traps can be crafted or purchased at the Hunting Lodge. Place them in shallow waters and bait them with worms.

- Mushrooms and wild fruits are found in wooded areas.
- Smoking, boiling, or roasting removes poison risks and makes wild foods safe to eat.
- ⚠️ Some mushrooms are deadly if eaten raw — always cook what you forage!

- Equip a fishing rod with a hook and either bait or a lure.
- Fish from land or from boats (available at the Svetlojarsk boat trader) to access deeper species.
- Gut fish immediately to save inventory space and sell fillets for higher profits.
- Over 10 collectibles can also be fished up and sold at the Collectables Trader.
- ⚠️ Falling into water while boating can quickly make you cold and sick. Always carry heat packs, dry clothes, and consider packing a dry bag for extra protection.

- Non-fish Meats can be sold at any food vendor or the Hunting Lodge.
- Pelts can only be sold at the Hunting Lodge.
- Fish and fillets can only be sold at the Fishing Trader at Svetlojarsk.
- ⚠️ Fishing at Svetlojarsk is forbidden to reduce hovering populations. If caught fishing after a warning, your inventory will be cleared.

- Always carry a large medkit packed with essentials like heat packs, multivitamins, antibiotics, hydration kits, blood test kits, and clean bandages.
- 💧 Stay hydrated — grab a water bottle from the merchant and purify unknown sources with chlorine tablets.
