Is it the new driver?

Has anyone else noticed that their fps performed better in PR after playing BF3 (which forces us to install the beta driver for our GFX card?). Because with my GTS250 - I somehow now have > 100 fps at Medium + some High settings - where in the past I play ~35...did this improve performance just happened to me or??
