Placing Rally Points

Hey Guys,

It seems to me everyone I talk to or every post I see about placing rally points is innacurate. So it is about time I share this pearl of wisdom with those of you honourable enough to SL.

There is no voodoo about placing a rally despite the claims I have seen such as if you spin around 3 times and coat yourself with the blood of a virgin goat then the rally will alway spawn at your left...or...right.

The rallypoint actual spawns 1m NORTH of your position.

With this knowledge it is quite easy to control where exactly your rally points go, and everyone knows in the current patch you can place it within objects at the moment...but this is being phased out next patch. Hopefully they will keep it spawning to your north though and give you control of where it is being placed.

I would suggest choosing wise locations on maps where it can be hidden (not within objects) but the natural terrain and out of direct site of the enemy. Don't be afraid to make your team walk a bit longer for the sake of keeping it out of site either.

Cheers,

GK
